Privacy & Cookies
Short version: we don’t use cookies, we don’t track you, and we don’t collect your personal data. This page explains the little that happens when you visit.

Who is responsible
This website is run by Ruslan Pazii (the “controller” under the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation). For any privacy question or request, write to [email protected].
Cookies
This site sets no cookies — no analytics, advertising or social media cookies, and no tracking pixels. That is why you don’t see a cookie banner.
The site keeps one small note in your browser’s session storage so it doesn’t have to ask again on every page:
| Name | What it holds | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
tf-geo | The Amazon store for your country, e.g. “amazon.es” | To show the right store on the “Buy on Amazon” button | Until you close the tab |
It never leaves your device and is strictly necessary for a feature you use, so no consent is required for it (EU ePrivacy Directive, Art. 5(3)).
What happens when you visit
- Hosting and security. The site is delivered by Cloudflare, Inc. To send you the pages and protect the site from attacks, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type. We don’t receive or store this data ourselves.
- Choosing your Amazon store. When you press “Buy on Amazon”, the site looks at the country of your connection (provided by Cloudflare from your IP address) only to send you to your local Amazon store with local prices. The country is not stored.
- No accounts, forms or newsletters. You can’t enter personal data on this site, and we don’t buy, sell or share any.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure website and sending you to the right store (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). Cloudflare is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and also uses the EU Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers outside the EU. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
Amazon links
As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. The “Buy on Amazon” buttons take you to Amazon; once you are there, Amazon’s own privacy notice and cookie rules apply, and Amazon may use cookies to know that you came from this site. See Amazon’s privacy notice.
Your rights
Under the GDPR and UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. Because we don’t keep personal data about visitors, there is usually nothing to hand over — but you can always ask us at [email protected]. You may also complain to a data protection authority, for example the Portuguese CNPD or the one in your country.
Visitors outside the EU
- United States (CCPA/CPRA and other state laws): we do not sell or share personal information, and we don’t use it for targeted advertising. Browser signals such as Global Privacy Control are respected automatically, because there is no tracking to switch off.
- Brazil (LGPD), Canada (PIPEDA) and other countries: the same practices apply — no personal data is collected for our own purposes, and you can contact us with any request.
Children
Our books are for children aged 4–8, but this website is meant for their parents and grown-ups. We don’t knowingly collect any information from children (COPPA, GDPR Art. 8).
Changes
If we ever add something that needs your consent — for example visitor statistics with cookies — we will ask you first and update this page. The date at the top shows the latest version.
